Many rock stars have quirks that can cause tension between band mates. A propensity to chew on any number of objects made Dougie one such star. It caused early rifts between band members but eventually the sight of him gnawing on his xylophone wand became a signature trait, not unlike Michael Jackson's white glove, or Mick Jagger's big mouth. |
