It is always a hoot to have new kids in the van and have them discover it….last week I had 6 15 year girls in the van playing STAR TREK/Captain Kirk. Beam me up Scottie!

No smile on her face. Is this normal?

As a society we like to stay isolated and independent. I think the eye contact thing is tied right into it all.

Kelly, Sounds like you are one of the “friendly strangers.” Ahh yes…that wonderful baby-aroma is priceless. I don’t think Yankee Candle makes that smell yet. ;)

Your enthusiasm for life… and kids is awesome! I’m sure it’s contagious! Keep spreading the joy!!

But a spontaneous peek-a-boo game that occurs with a child in a public place is one of my favorite things in life. A close second to having a baby fall asleep on my chest, with that wonderful baby-aroma hair in easy sniffing distance. Kids rock!

But, then they miss out on the good stuff, like the little guy you spoke of earlier.
