That’s so sweet Minette! I’ve always thought that I’d do that if I had a snowblower & lived on a block of houses. I’ve also wondered why more people don’t do it!

The schoolkids in Pittsburgh got a “free” 2-hour delay yesterday. No snow. They just got to go in late because the Steelers won the Super Bowl! How cool is that?

I miss snow days so much. Have you heard the song “Snow Day” by Bleu?

We’re getting dumped on here in Missouri, too. One upside of so many people not bothering to shovel the sidewalks is that I can pull my kids to church on the sled!

I did want to tell you about one thing I do to beat the late-winter blahs. Every August, I juice a watermelon and freeze the juice until February. It’s a big deal when I thaw it, and we all enjoy tasting a bit of summer and looking forward to days when we will actually complain that it is too hot outside!

One cure I have for myself and Adulitis on snow days is my snowblower! I hated shoveling snow – but now that I have the snowblower, I can get it done twice as fast and I can also continue down the block and clear out the sidewalks for the neighbors!
