I actually did crack my oldest daughter’s head on my bedroom door jam! I was so sleep deprived, she had a extreme case of cholic, that I cut the corner too tight going out the doorway and BAM! She is now an absolutely gorgeous fine arts major in college. We wanted to raise kids that had no fears of trying new stuff….it lead to the occasion cuts and bruises BUT was well worth every scarey moment for me. My 15 year went skiing for the first time this year without us,without a lesson, came back alive and had a great time. SO NOW WORRIES!

Be not afraid. I know easier to say or sing than live sometimes. The solution might be our ongoing “mindfulness” as we carry on with our everyday tasks. Last July we got two puppies–a brother and sister–and they’re a joy. Yeah, those cuddly beings can get a little slippery when wet. Just hang on.
