The first move, no children were involved and we were newly married. That meant not as much “stuff” as the moves to houses number 2 and 3!
One thing I do like about moving is the fact that it causes me to sort through my “stuff!” George Carlin’s
“stuff” comedy act describes me to a tee! I missed Lucy on today’s show. I think I spied her with a grandparent sitting at a table in the background. The wall colors I was seeing in your new home are lovely! The stunts that you two performed were great! I think a trip to Hollywood is in your future!
Many thanks for another inspiring take what can be a stressful time in our lives. Even good stress can be difficult. Cindi

I’m tired just watching this video! I enjoyed it – congrats again on this new adventure in your lives. p.s. I think a casualty is indeed a fatality?!

This was a deeply moving episode! I laughed. I cried. It moved me! The way you “pack” so much into 6 minutes…it’s an inspiration to us all.

“casualty
Pronunciation:
\ˈka-zhəl-tē, ˈkazh-wəl-, ˈka-zhə-wəl-\
Function:
noun
Inflected Form(s):
plural ca·su·al·ties
Date:
15th century

1archaic : chance, fortune 2: serious or fatal accident : disaster3 a: a military person lost through death, wounds, injury, sickness, internment, or capture or through being missing in action b: a person or thing injured, lost, or destroyed : victim”

So no, casualties are not necessarily fatalities. Although, what’s up with all the beating? So much violence in a purportedly family-friendly video! :-)

Glad to see you keeping such a good mood going while you are moving. I hate moving. Well, I like GOING to a new place but the actual act of moving smells like… umm, you know what it smells like. When my wife and I are cleaning and watching the movers pack our stuff, and cleaning some more, and keeping the kids out of the movers’ way, and cleaning some more, it is a real test of everything. My fuse is VERY short during this two day process and we have to invent ways to keep it light.

The good Lord definately helped on our last move. It was June 12th and we had almost two inches of global warming fall on us while we were loading the truck. Now I know several individuals who are a few generations before my time that never saw that before. Our movers were amazed at the white stuff and we were all like little kids watching it come down. It was gone in a few hours but lifted all our moods.

Two days later our suburban transmission blew up for the second time 40 miles into a 2400 mile trip. Apparently God has a sense of humor also.

Talk to you guys soon,

Cubby
