So far, I have Shamwowed my neighbors, triumphed over my wife in a dizzy bat race, grilled Twinkies and Twizzlers for the 4th of July, enjoyed a pontoon boat ride on Lake Michigan, […]

I mean really, their mascot is a frog! You also get to see some of the future Mariners stars before they become Mariners stars. I think one of my favorite Aquasox memories was when we got there one time, and we were chosen to sit in special seats and watch the game for free. One of the local casinos bought a game for one family that night, and that family got to sit in special seats and have their name announced on the loudspeaker. We were excited about the free ticket idea, but not so excited about having our name announced in the same sentence as a casino…so the ticket window person compromised, and we were the Brown family for the night. :-)

After another Aquasox game, we saw the Christian band True Vibe. That was cool!

I have to say the Sumo suit and dizzy bat race were cool! I think both of you did great, and I agree with Kim…falls are funny (at least, the ones in the video were). I also thought I might point out that in the dizzy bat race, Jason was the first one to fall on the ground and roll.

At the beginning of the dizzy bat race, I saw you holding the bats, and I thought we were fixin’ to see a live-action reenactment of the T-Ball K&J comic strip series…which made me realize, maybe you guys should video yourselves reenacting one of the series in the comic strip in live action. That would be cool.

Another bit of trivia: The Seattle Mariners were founded the same year I was. (I know, I just dated myself.)

It was a fun and relaxing evening together! My memory of baseball is from a church retreat- our leaders and the campers were playing slow pitch softball and I was pitching. One of the leaders hit a line drive right into my left cheek! You could see the imprint of the ball inside of my mouth. Although it really was painful, I was okay. I literally belly laughed when Kim fell in her Sumo Suit. Jason had some good moves, but Kim made me laugh. Thanks for the fun time. Cindi

Falling earns high marks with me! I was cracking up so hard I had tears in my eyes.

I’m a big fan of baseball and softball. I’ve been playing for almost 15 years. I think one of my most memorable experiences of baseball was a championship game I played in. (Kim, this story will make you feel better about falling.) We were in front of quite A LOT of people and I came up to bat. I swung at the ball and hit it but next thing I know I’m losing my balance. I’m not even 3 feet away from home plate and I take a nice dive into the dirt. Needless to say, I was out but I got the whole crowd and my team laughing hysterically. ( In my defense, the batter’s box was a sand pit and not very good for swinging a bat in.)

You need a disclaimer — not “Do not try this at home” but perhaps

Professional Adultitis Anihilators
DO try this at home

Thanks for the laughs!

I’ll be hosting the bat game here pretty soon and will definitely be sending a video. It’s gonna be so funny… I’m almost laughing at the thought.

Just got around to watching the last two shows – tis been very busy around here for a few weeks while Cubby blows the Navy away with his super great flying skills. But, wanted to tell you that the kids got Cubby a Sham Wow for Father’s Day. It was awesome! They told him they had put together a skit for him and proceeded to conduct a Sham-Wow commercial while Gabe(8) was the camera guy. We discovered that 8 year olds, at least mine, aren’t that great at filming so there isn’t much of a video –
but it was so much fun and we laughed quite a bit!

We are moving to a mo’ better house next month and plan to Sham-Wow a new neighbor. Thanks for the idea!
