Your little video clip where you made mention of “Mall Santas” reminded me of Bob Rivers’ Twisted Christmas “There’s Another Santa Claus”
Everywhere you look you can’t escape. There’s Santas everywhere…

Parenthood is awesomely exhausting and infinitely rewarding. Yes, that first year DID go fast. I don’t know where our first “almost 6” years have gone!!! I dread the thought that 15 is less than 10 years away! Enjoy.

YOU are quite welcome…I don’t know you have tough competition for Uncoolest Dad on Earth…first there’s MY Dad, then there’s my husband…you’re going to have to work pretty hard to earn that title!!!

If you get a chance stop by my blog tomorrow morning…I have created a blog word quilt…gratitude statements from people all around the world and the US…something to print and read at the Thanksgiving table if your family is inclined to listen to really long blessings…because that’s how it reads as a blessing from many voices young and old.

Happy Thanksgiving
Laura

Thank you for the sneak peek at life living with girls. I am already preparing to be the uncoolest Dad on Earth. (Hopefully I have a few years before that title is thrust upon me???)

Thanks for the comment, Laura. Have a Happy Thanksgiving yourself!

I remember when my two were little wow…it was YEARS before everyone slept through the night and in their own beds to boot! And pink, well, they outgrow that and then purple becomes the new pink for a few years until that too is declared too babyish…now once they hit the teen years like my two…all bets are off on what tres chic du jur is gonna be…actually, now pink is ok as long as it is manic panic dyed into your hair…but God forbid it is an article of clothing…NO WAY MOM! Girl are full of rules and they change with the phases of the moon or at total random…good luck with that, my poor husband also grew up with a brother, father, mom and yes a female dog (schnauzer…I am not being rude)…so it is a constantly unfolding mystery for him too.

Happy Thanks Giving,
Laura
