Thanks for sharing this post…it was great to see some of the cool ways you have decorated your place. Can I hire you for some home decorating? I just helped my friend with some painting and I’m amazed how much it transformed the energy inside the place. I can imagine that your bold colors had the same effect. In any case, your tips are great examples of the little ways that all of us can decorate. BTW, I’ve got some “King of the Hill” action figures where Hank and a couple of his buddies are standing with little cans of beer in their hands…these action figures are on top of my medicine cabinet and are a fun reminder to relax and kick back a little. We almost never do any decorating because we move so much, but I got a wild hair and decided that I had to do something, even if temporary, to give our house a little more pep. So, a few months ago I began a decorating on a budget hobby and have accomplished two projects in so far this year.
A couple months ago I turned our bathroom from a very boring bla to a bright and cheerful room for only $12. We have 6 boys, so I can’t say much for it staying clean for very long, but it sure looks cute!
And not long after that we spruced up our eating area by spray paintingour kitchen table orange, green & blue. It was a drab brown but now the chairs are all different colors and the table is bright and cheerful. My entire family loves it.

I’m so stealing your glass in the window idea!
