I can’t remember having dessert before a meal but just recently I celebrated International Ice Cream for Breakfast day (I didn’t know about it at the time, so I celebrated the holiday the following weekend). Does that count? :)

I also feel like it helps me to keep my dessert portion reasonable as I’m saving room for salad!

It was so cool to watch the kids create sundays and banana splits with their eyes really big, and Ryan and I loved throwing caution to the wind and eating our desserts with wild abandon.

The thing that makes it so special is not doing it too often, but making sure you still get it done.
