Hi Sherry! I’m SO glad you’re enjoying the books! Many people are in the same boat as you when it comes to your childhood. We are big believers that it’s never to late to have a great (and FUN) childhood. It sounds like you’re on the right track!

And yes, we did get the quilt. It is so awesome, and Lucy LOVES it! Thank you so much!

They aren’t ones I plan to move off the shelf for some time. It has validated that my profession…allows me to be a five year old everyday.

And it is a happy read rather than the drudge of reading the newspaper that only lists the down side of living.

Hope you got the quilt that I sent.

Thanks for making a difference in my life. My childhood wasn’t one with toys and fun trips or investment in me…but I have been able to make changes in my life by how I spent time with my children. they have happy memories. Sometimes reading the books have been challenging in that when I was being raised…my happiness wasn’t a priority for the adults in my life. It was about being a part of a work force ….and that was from the age of 5. Fun was not something that was important. And today…fun is hard work…but the books remind me to build it in.
