I just discovered this blog in a very round-about way. My friend and I often talk (read: dream) about the tree house I’m going to build, and I come up with all these crazy ideas for it. So, she did a search and found your treehouse post. The rest, as they say, is history, because now I’m hooked. All I do is work, sleep, and dream big dreams (which seem so outta reach), and I suffer from severe adultitis and burnout. So, here I am, and I’m glad I found ya!

In reply to Minette. It was great! The most interesting thing was noticing just how many times I gravitate toward pulling out the iPhone to pass the time. But instead of giving in, I practiced just being in the moment and observing things around me. Refreshing!

Well, I had a graduate school midterm paper to write, so I couldn’t join you last weekend. However, I may join you this weekend! Imagine – a weekend reading, playing with the dog, walking, and sometimes just plain being lazy. Sounds good to me! How was your weekend?

You know, I just might join you. We already plan to have a home-holiday, as we’ve been out and had people in so much lately. To eliminate digital distractions and make space for boredom would be an excellent idea :)
