A tradition we have had for many years with our children who are now 24 and 30!

I love this idea. Maybe I can use your idea to tweak our New Years Eve tradition I started with my girls. We stay up to watch the ball drop of course, but we always have root beer floats on New Years Eve. They would love the slipper idea. P.S.I should note that alcoholism runs on both sides of our families so I began this tradition with my little girls to also take one more step towards ensuring that my girls don’t reach for alcohol on New Years Eve when they are adults. A fun, cozy tradition that maybe they will stay nostalgic about and New Years Eve just won’t seem the same without a rootbeer float!

So cool to have your tradition “grow” with you as your family does, Gail!

Now that both boys are out of the house, them come along with their girlfriends & cut their tree also and then its off to have some cocktails & lunch. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
