I of course was flattered. At the time my only child was probably about 3. I talked with my husband about it and he supported me. When I thought about how much of my families life I would be sacrificing, the decision was quickly made. God called me to be a nurse…and I listened.

At this moment my 14 yr old son and I are watching a local NE WI telethon. Now don’t get me wrong, the Service provider they are soliciting donations for is wonderful…..BUT, the local tv celebs are acting like complete goobers. They would not act that way in real life, with friends at dinner or at the theater…or would they? Way to keep marching to the beat of your own ‘fight adultitis” drum!
There is plenty of time to be a celery buying celebrity.
