Life is filled with mystery, much of it too big for us to understand.
In our lifetimes, we suffer excruciating heartache and unspeakable tragedy. Just when I think I have things figured out, some new event reminds me of just how little I know.
But from the swing on the edge of my backyard overlooking Lake Michigan, I can observe the ever-changing nature of the sky, while maintaining a sense of certainty that the sun will emerge from the horizon at a specific time tomorrow morning. The majestic beauty resounds with the message of the Creator, who reminds us that the sun is coming.
When you’re at the end of your rope and feeling hopeless, you give it one more day.
Darkness shall not overcome the light.
