The Art of Jason Kotecki

Jason Kotecki is a Master of Wit & Whimsy who makes art for Adultitis Fighters. In a weary world, his paintings are parables for the poor in spirit and propaganda for what really matters. Each piece draws the viewer in with humor, color, and pop culture references, and serves as a metaphor representing little reminders of important truths.

Painting in a style he calls Whimsical Realism, Jason is inspired by the wisdom, wonder, and nostalgia of childhood. He’s Willy Wonka with a paintbrush, his work often including elements of absurdity and nonsense. Jason is ok with critics being turned off by the cheerfulness and optimism that pulses through his portfolio, noting that our world seems to be all stocked up on cynicism.
