Hello friend!
Jason Kotecki is a local artist, author, and speaker (formerly from Madison and now living in Sheboygan) who has written and illustrated a delightful book for children (and former children). It combines his colorful, whimsical illustrations with a heartwarming story about a persistent penguin who reminds us that things are impossible just till they’re not.
Marty is an ordinary penguin with an extraordinary dream. Most call it impossible. But Marty is creative and has a true believer in his corner. Does he have what it takes to overcome all odds?
Here’s a video of Jason reading the book:

🎈 Consider the Family Dreamer Pack!
This book was actually inspired by a book Jason wrote for adults, called Penguins Can’t Fly +39 Other Rules That Don’t Exist. In it, he exposes the invisible “rules” that keep us stressed, stuck, and sidelined from the joy we once knew as children. This colorful, inspiring book equips you to break free from useless conventions, embrace your quirks, and take small, bold steps that transform everyday existence into the adventurous, wonder-filled story it was meant to be. The Family Dreamer Pack includes both books, as well as a little Marty the Penguin toy eraser that your family can use to play this fun game.
