Do you have a hobby, expertise, or superpower you’d like to share with fellow members of the Wonder & Whimsy Society? We’d love to have you consider hosting your very own Wonder Workshop!
Wonder Workshops were created to shine the spotlight on the amazing talents and diverse interests of members while making Society membership even more valuable by providing additional opportunities to connect and grow.
Please use the form below to apply for consideration. If accepted, we will create and schedule an official Event post in the W&WS private group so that other members can learn about it and RSVP. You will be in charge of planning, hosting, and leading your event, including providing a link to the virtual meeting (Zoom, WebEx, GoToMeeting, etc.) or securing the meeting location for in-person events.
You can submit a one-time event or a series of events. We are open to all kinds of ideas, but to improve your chances of having your event “officially sanctioned,” make note of the following:
- The topic should be fairly specific, even if the material covered will be introductory in nature.
- The content should be family-friendly and consistent with the overall spirit of the Wonder & Whimsy Society.
- Adhere to the general Member Guidelines outlined here. (TLDR – Don’t be a doo-doo head.)
- Make sure the requested date of your event does not interfere with Escape Adulthood LIVE (7:45-8:45 pm CT each Wednesday) or any official W&WS Mastermind Meeting (check dates on the Event page.)
Please keep in mind that you don’t need to be an “expert” and you don’t need to be a qualified or experienced “teacher.” All you need is a passion for something, a willingness to share it with others, and a fun, positive attitude!
