I still jump rope at recess with the students. I don’t do it as often or as long. But…. I can still do it! It does surprise some of the kids.

At 39, I changed careers and am now a teacher. The kids asked me to limb up on the monkey bars. (I was so happy they did, because I am still a kid at heart, and I really wanted to.) It sometimes feels funny to let the kid out, but boy does it feel freeing as well.

Ahhh….the monkey bars. It’s hard not to let the kid out on the monkey bars.
I wonder how many Fortune 500 CEOs spend time on the monkey bars…
