Although there hasn’t been much rejoicing about the stamp rate increase, these new stamps have softened the blow. At least in our office, where they’ve been a big hit. They feature picture book animals like Curious George, Olivia, and one of Maurice Sendak’s Wild Things. Good stuff.
It’s a neat chain reaction: the stamps put a smile on our face when we put them on an envelope. Then the mailman smiles when he delivers the letter. And the recipient smiles when she gets the mail. Is it a big deal? No, not really. But in the world of a childhood, little things ARE the big things. Maybe that smile puts someone in a little better mood than they would have been, which starts a whole new chain reaction. It’s amazing how simple it can be to add a little childhood to your day, your company, or your life.
It doesn’t take a lot to make life just a little bit more fun.
(If you’re looking for a way to add even more childhood into your life, there is a plan.)

I was so excited when I went to the Post Office and found these stamps. My brother did not share my excitement, so I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one who loves these new stamps! Keep up the good work of getting rid of Adultitis!

I will be getting those, and also made sure I stocked up on the Henson/Muppet stamps when they came out. Seriously, how can you go wrong with Beaker on your mail?
Keep up the good work – fight the good fight! ;)
