Thanks to Marilyn for calling my attention to this…
On Wednesday of this week, at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 in the morning, the time and date will be 01:02:03 04/05/06. That won’t ever happen again in your lifetime.
The secret to life is slowing down just enough to notice the little things.
If you live in Australia (or anywhere else that does dd/mm/yy) you will actually have to wait another month till the 4th of May… gives me time to get ready I guess :)
I beat you to it by 15 minutes(http://feeds.feedburner.com/BnpositivesBlog?m=403), and RodeoClown was fast to point out the difference between US time and Aussie time as well.
The time sounds like the cadence of a workout instructor.
I’ll make sure to get the kids up, we’ll gather around the clock and watch time pass.
If this is anything like a solar eclipse do you think I should have my children wear protective lenses as they watch the time go to 01 02 03 04 05 06?
Trust the Aussies to wait and see if we survive this cataclysmic event. I hope our computers don’t all self-destruct!
Ahh, touché, Jason. Your blog reflex is just too refined.
Thanks for the time zone adjustment, Rodeo Clown.
And David, I highly recommend the protective lenses. Maybe some marshmallows to roast, too.
When I sent this e-mail around I heard back from one of my friends with this comment: “My daughter was born 9/8/76 at 5:43. I didn’t notice the numbers lined up till years later. Weird, huh?” Someone suggested her daughter should be a numerologist.
