This is the very first episode of The Escape Adulthood Show! In this episode, we analyze someone with a very serious case of Adultitis when it comes to sending Christmas cards (and how you can avoid a similar fate.) We also share some our our favorite things — if Oprah can do it, why can’t we? We hope you enjoy it and give us feedback by leaving a comment below (or in the video itself — just click the little plus sign in the player.)

Kim–About the mats, I didn’t get the water and nasty dry bit either until I watched this.
Great job! Love the pop-up explanations and sidebars of fun!
Happy Bringing Out the Kid in all of us Journey,

10 “brownie” points for Kim’s undercooked brownie family fun!! I’ve got my own tradition… Everybody jokes about it — “She gonna make brownie batter now”. Really. I make a nice bowl of brownie batter and then some of it gets “thrown away” into a pan that is subjected to wicked heat WHILE I leisurely lick the spoon and as much of the batter I could leave in the bowl. C’mon, along with the mismatched socks, it’s one of my favorite things!!! Woohoo!

Middle brownies ROCK!! Why on earth would you want to eat the hard crusty outside. Now if someone could create a pan that only made middles…That would be a wonder of the world for sure!!
Jill says
LOVE LOVE LOVE the new stacked mug! So cute!
And Kim – you barely look pregnant on this video – except for the luxurious blond locks – how is that possible!
Melynda says
I thought liking the edge of the brownies was more of an adult thing. I love the edges but my 5 oldest kids all prefer the middle, as did I when I was a kid. The 18 month old doesn’t care – he just likes food in general.
My daughter is 13 and has been badly wanting the water/nasty dry crap mat – though she jokes that she has no idea what to do with it as it wouldn’t make sense in her room. However, I showed her that clip on your show and it all makes sense now. She has her own dog, a Jack Russell named Captain Jack Sparrow, and now that mat actually has a purpose for her.
She is very happy about this!
The show was great. Can’t wait to see the next one –
terrific job!

So now that brings up the question.. middle or edge pizza pieces? (square cut pizza of course)
Nice work on the first show!

LOVE THE MUGS! And you guys rock too, of course…
Crayola says
Yup. There are Ramadan cards. I got curious and looked it up! And middle brownies are the only way to go.
Eliz Greene says
I SO looked under my chair! Where’s my stuff??!!
If they invent a middle-only brownie pan, sign me up for that one, please.
Can’t wait until next week.
Keep up the great work,
Eliz

I didn’t have time to read all of the posts, but contrary to all health related issues I usually just ate the brownie mix before it ever made it to the pan to be cooked. I guess Jason can’t say that your method, Kim, is less healthy than mine!

Hi Kim, Hi Jason! Great show, thanks for sharing :)
