To celebrate the release of our new book, There’s An Adult In My Soup, we decided it would be fun to do a live show. We weren’t sure what to expect, but we ended up having a lot of people tune in and participate in the show. It was great fun! Among other things, we talked about laughing, Wolverine, Outback Steakhouse, dugongs, and how you can keep the adult out of your soup. You can watch the entire episode in its entirety below.

I really enjoyed the show. It was fun to watch. I hope you do it again. I recieved your new book yesterday and really enjoy all the short essays, which are both poignant and to the point. Great job!

I tried to get in at the original time… just didn’t work… next time I’ll be there again… you guys always put a smile on my face…

Sorry the technology was a bust, John. Other people had trouble at first as well, but I’m not sure what the issue was. But thanks for trying and thanks for the kind words!

Great show! I wish I coulda made it, but sadly, I was too busy escaping adulthood. :-)
I nominate rodeoclown for a free book. Just a suggestion. Anyone who has taken a picture with a dugong deserves a free book, in my humble opinion. I also think that notthatsteve has an awesome name. Again, imho. :-)
I do have a bone to pick with you, though. I seem to remember you mentioning that you’d address stuff mentioned in e-mails, for people who couldn’t make it. I didn’t notice anything about e-mails that people who couldn’t make it (coughcough) sent you.
Jason says
You’ll have to resend the email you sent; I’m not sure if I remember getting it! We’ll make sure to get to it next time ;)
And funny you should mention RodeoClown, he ended up being the first to email us at the end to win the free book. Sorry you missed this one, but we’ll be doing more down the line, that’s for sure!

P.S. Looking forward to the next live show…preferably sometime when I’m available! :-)
