You guys really got me into the April Fools thing. So the next day at work I noticed that Ray had a note about a haircut appointment for 11:45 AM. So I changed it into 10:45 AM. It was hard to make a one into a zero but I did a pretty good job. Mid morning Ray looked at the note and decided that someone tampered with his appointment time. The good thing is that 2 of my other co-workers got the blame, and not me!
This reminded me of a prank I played on my boss a few years ago. He had a nice solar calculator that he used all of the time. One day I took black electrical tape and cut it perfectly to size to fit over the dark solar panels of his calculator. It shut down almost immediately! I put it on his desk and waited. Finally he needed it and started pushing the buttons, nothing. Again he pushed a bunch of buttons, nothing. He then handed the calculator to Tom who was always full of himself. He studied it closely, pushed some buttons and then threw it on Pete’s desk and said I guess it’s broken. It was hard to keep a straight face but I did. A few minutes later I headed out for lunch and when I got back, there was Pete ripping open a package, his new calculator! I really meant to tell him but after all I was hungry.
