Are You a Home Run Champ Or a Strikeout King?

I finally had a chance to meet blogging buddy and Make It Great! guy Phil Gerbyshak and his wife on Saturday. Kim and I met Phil and his wife (also named Kim) halfway between Madison and Milwaukee. How shall I sum up the experience of meeting Phil? It's like meeting Rain Man, a Baptist preacher, and your best friend all in one. It was remarkable that Phil knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that in 1980, Rickey Henderson batted .303 and stole 100 bases with 9 home runs. I Don’t Want to Grow Up

Do you remember those commercials on TV in the 80's highlighting the Toys "R" Us shopping spree? If I remember correctly they would show some very hyper eight-year-old running through the aisles pushing this big cart full of toys and excitedly putting even more toys into the cart. The Secret to a Good Night’s Sleep?

Is anytime of the day a good time to watch the news? I don't know about you, but whenever I watch the news, I end up feeling angry, or sad, or frustrated, or disappointed, or overwhelmed, or hopeless, or some combination of the above. Most news telecasts are very early in the morning, or very late at night. Do I really want to start my day with an order of doom and a side of gloom?
