Lucy Ruth Kotecki was born at 5:00 a.m. on Monday, December 8, 2008. She clocked in at 8 pounds, 13 ounces and measured about 20 inches long.

Congrats!! It’s such a blessing bringing your first child home, wait for the second and third…
My oldest in now thierteen and youngest is nine so my one tip to you new parents is…. Don’t let anyone tell you that you hold Lucy to much! She will only be that small for a short time and she won’t fit into your arms or will think that hugs are “not cool”. Hug and hold her until she says “not cool” and don’t listen to those comments like, you’ll spoil her if you hold her to much. I say, spoil her and never let her go!!! Enjoy God’s gift!
Oh my goodness, she is soooo beautiful! There is nothing sweeter than witnessing the overwhelming joy of becoming a new parent! Isn’t is amazing!!! I LOVE the picture of Lucy sucking her thumb! So cute! Congrats again!

Congratulations to you both! I said it before and I’ll say it again…what a lucky child! Now that we are in the college going and college planning years with our kids, I can only stress how fast time does go! Enjoy her and each other-you are truly blessed!
