Hey Kim & Jason!
I miss you guys and I can’t wait to meet Lucy! She is beautiful. I think your new place is great. Please let me know the name of your paint colors.
Take care,
Jill

Hey Jill, thanks for the comment! Since you asked, we used four different colors for our new office, all Behr paint from Home Depot. The set background is Chili Pepper and Frosty Glade. We also added Spiced Butternut and Vintage Orange elsewhere in the office. It gives it a neat childlike feel, but more sophisticated than a kindergarten classroom :)

Peanut Butter & Co. Cookbook Prize Update!***
We awarded two cookbooks during this show. One to Katie and one to Cindi, who each suggested that there should be some drawings (and maybe some hints) included on the Chalkboard. We got a few more similar comments after we shot this week’s show (but before it was posted, so…Dennis, Ellen, and Debbie will each get a book as well! Thanks for all the ideas, guys!

I could relate to so much in your show this week! Kudos to Debbie and the wonderful way she used your “The Escape Plan” Book. I think every
head of the countries of the world should have one of these books.
Your idea about placing “George” with a kind note on someone’s windshield is heart warming. Maybe, with this book’s ideas, more people would be kind to one another! My husband designs ground support for fighter jets . Early in our marriage, I gave him a book filled with plans on how to make various paper airplanes. Also, I am a trivia fan and your starting to have trivia questions is fabulous. Your set colors are lovely and the floor lamp is very unusual and is great with the rest of your decor! The chalkboard caught my idea right away.
Great job. I did miss Lucy. Thanks again for your inspiration.

You should have used one of your lifelines and called your Aunt Sarah about the trivia question because I knew the answer. Doubloons? Please… Jason… did you listen in Mr. Newland’s class at all?

Hi Guys! Loved the show. I’m a little behind, been busy doing some schoolwork, and your show was just the break I needed. :0)
I love the tip for leaving a dollar and a note – what a great little surprise. And not that you wouldn’t smile to find the $Buck$, but the note shows that it wasn’t just money falling from the sky. :0)
Thanks for including the paper airplane contest. I had to laugh that the US contestants didn’t check the paper size and weren’t up to par with everyone else. Plus the whole idea is just incredibly silly and fun so of course it was perfect for EA.
Toodle-loo!

Great show! With my new job, I haven’t been able to get to it until now…but I loved it! My favorite part was Kim’s shirt…the show from the week when I start my new job at Nintendo, Kim wears a t-shirt with my friend Mario on it. Yay!!! (I’m testing the French version of video games. It’s like a combination of my childhood dreams and my adult dreams. It’s a dream job! I’d tell you more, but since it’s all top secret, I’d have to kill you…so I think I’ll spare you the pain.) :-)
Not sure if I’ve mentioned this before, but just in case… Debbie’s awesome feedback reminded me of a time I was in line to redeem a gift certificate at one of our local Christian bookstores. The clerk rang up my purchases, and it came out to more than the gift certificate was worth. Since I didn’t have money (I was in high school at the time), I was about to put one of the things back when the guy behind me in line informed us that he would pay the difference! That was one of the most awesome things I have experienced, and I speak from experience when I fully endorse Debbie’s idea.
As for the poll, I was sadly too late to answer it…but if Cubby prefers helicopters, I think that’s what he should fly. I’ll go with helicopters.
(Oh, and I used to love playing Carmen Sandiego when I was little. I learned a lot of what I know about foreign cities from that game.)

PS. When I was in elementary and middle school, my dad taught middle school study skills at my school. He had a unit about paper airplanes, and at the end of the unit, we would make paper airplanes and go to the gym and have a contest. It was great!
