One of the most interesting (although not necessarily enjoyable) parts of this book-making adventure has been turning the nearly-finished version over to the lawyers. They scour the copy and artwork for potential legal land mines that could arise. My editor warned me that companies that make toys are some of the most litigious and Adultitis-ridden entities around. Something Exciting Coming Soon!
One of the most successful and rewarding things Kim and I have ever created has been the Escape Adulthood Summit. People who have attended one rave about it. It's an experience like no other; a weekend filled with fun, inspiration, community, and magic. • Using mounds of discarded plastic sheeting, old tires, shingles, and tangles of electrical cable, Bordallo II carefully repositions everything before spray painting it to resemble animals and insects.
